“Why did you name a company in German?"

“Does not it mean “can " – like aluminum can, in English?"

It can be said that KANN was born spontaneously on the tracks. Precisely, on one of the out of use, border traction, on which no train has traveled for several years. There was no intention of creating a German infinitive from the verb können, and no one even thought about combining the name with a phonetic-sounding similarly English verb can.

KANN is not a jumble of insignificant letters, it is a juxtaposition of two names of people who said “if you really want something, you can achieve it", for many months they have closed in their own world – like being in can, focusing a lot of attention and strength on building together something from scratch.
